Jason deCaires Taylor's haunting undersea beings (see www.underwatersculpture.com); my son's band The Hinge (I'll post a link to their CD as soon as it's available); pyrite & aquamarine, owls, ravens, ants, bees, gum wrapper chains, laughter as medicine.

Bio: Sudasi J. Clement is the Poetry Editor of the Santa Fe Literary Review. Her own poems have appeared in Nerve Cowboy, Main Channel Voices, Manzanita Quarterly, Slipstream, Apalachee Review, Mas Tequila Review, The Malpais Review, BestPoem, among others. She is co-owner of Beadweaver in Santa Fe. Sudasi has been making beaded jewelry since she was eight; she sold her first necklaces to a boutique when she was ten. Her beadwork has appeared in national publications such as Bead & Button, Peyote Stitch: The Best of Bead & Button, The Santa Fean, and Beaded Amulet Purses by Nicolette Stessin. Originally from Pennsylvania, she has called the high desert of New Mexico home for nearly twenty years.
